Editorial Guidelines

Career advice affects whether someone gets an interview, so we hold every guide, example and comparison on EZProCV to the same standard: accurate, sourced, practical and honest about what our product does.

Sources and facts

  • Rules, requirements and figures come from official or primary sources — government labor and immigration sites, official occupational data (such as O*NET and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics), university career services, professional bodies and the documentation of applicant tracking system vendors.
  • We link those sources in the text and list them at the end of each page.
  • We don't invent statistics, studies or quotes. Where no reliable figure exists, we describe the point without a number.
  • Rules that change — visas, labor law, fees — are dated (“as of October 2026”) and we tell readers to confirm on the official site before acting.
  • Immigration and employment-law topics are general information, not legal advice.

Resume, CV and cover letter examples

Every sample resume and letter is written for teaching purposes. The people, employers, contact details and metrics in them are fictional; any resemblance to real people is coincidental. Samples follow the structure that applicant tracking systems parse reliably and the conventions of the country they are written for.

Claims about EZProCV

We only describe features that exist in the product today: ATS-friendly resume and cover letter templates, a live preview, a free text-based PDF download, resume import (PDF or DOCX), optional regional fields and shareable links. We don't promise interviews or job offers — no one honestly can.

Comparisons with other tools

Comparison pages are checked against each company's own website, dated, and linked to the pages we used. They list where the other product is stronger as well as where EZProCV is. Prices and plans change, so each page tells readers to confirm current terms with the provider.

How content is written and updated

Guides are researched against the sources above and checked against our writing standard before publishing. Drafting may be assisted by AI writing tools; an editor checks the facts, examples and links of every page before it goes live. Each page shows the date it was last updated, and we review guides regularly — rules that change, such as visas and labor law, at least every three months.
