Because we couldn't verify MyPerfectResume's current terms, here is the checklist we'd use on its pricing page, or on any paid builder's:
- What does the free option download? Look for the exact file formats (PDF, Word, plain text) and whether a watermark is added.
- Is there a trial, and what does it turn into? Note the trial length, the renewal price and the billing period. Billing "every four weeks" is 13 charges a year, not 12.
- How do you cancel? Check whether you can cancel in your account dashboard, or only by email or phone.
- Is there a refund window? Note how many days you have and what counts as eligible.
- Does the price vary by country? Some builders show prices in local currency, so the figure you see may differ from a friend's.
- What happens to your resume after you cancel? Find out whether you can still download it.
If you'll use AI writing, the ATS checker and the example library for weeks, a paid plan can be good value. If you just need one clean resume, a free tool may be enough.
